This is Kalliste. My OC for Mortal Kombatt 11 speicifally. Early portrait, she has had since been touched up.
Quiet, observant, and emotionally repressed. Kalliste is strange, a little detached, and often misunderstood. There’s a haunting presence to her—a subtle madness underneath the surface. Raised without real family, she was molded by Shang Tsung into a living weapon. Though capable of violence, she’s more curious than cruel, with a dry wit and a tendency to mask her discomfort with sarcasm or silence. She’s introspective, introverted, and socially stunted, unsure how to handle affection or attention—especially from someone like Kollector.
Kalliste has platinum blonde hair with a streak of silver running through the left side—where dark magic has corrupted part of her body. Her left arm, shoulder, and part of her face are veined with a black-and-silver mottling, reminiscent of twisted birthmarks or magic-burn scars. Her eyes are heterochromic: one a rich blue, the other pitch-black. She wears dark, concealing clothes layered in cloth, leather, and straps to obscure her mutated side. Her figure is lean, and her movement graceful but cold—like a ghost trained to kill.
Dark Soul Infusion: Shang Tsung implanted fragments of Netherrealm magic into her, granting her destructive magical bursts, soul-siphoning strikes, and dark energy manipulation.
Shadow Step: Brief teleportation through shade or mist.
Serrated Claws: She can form claw-like blades from her corrupted arm.
Pain Tolerance: High resistance to pain due to her conditioning and magical alteration.
Kalliste was a street orphan in Outworld, taken in by Shang Tsung not out of mercy, but as an experiment. He infused her body with dark magic, sculpting her into a living weapon. She became his silent assassin, shaped by obedience and emptiness. Now part of Shao Kahn’s court, she is watched with suspicion—but also fascination. Kollector, in particular, has taken a disturbing interest in her. For the first time, Kalliste finds herself being treated not as a weapon—but as something precious. And she’s not sure if that’s better… or worse.
